Andrea is 19 and a student at Clemson University looking to double major in Geology/Environmental Toxicology and Chinese. She has also managed to break her right arm three times throwing a rifle and can do an amazing imitation of a kitty. Oh, and she is on the Dean’s List.
Jon is 17 and he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 7. He was moved to an insulin pump at 9. He is in high school and is finding his niche in Automotive Technology. He also makes a mean cheesecake.
Seth is 15 and has Aspergers. He is living at his biological dad’s house this year as a trial. It has been a huge adjustment for all of us. His new high school offers JROTC, which our local school did not. He is really enjoying it, and while I miss him during the week, that makes it easier.
Faith is almost 8. She survived a right-hemispere stroke. she is diagnosed with Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Familial Mediterranean Fever Syndrome, Golobal Developmental Delays, severe food allergies and a laundry list more that I am too tired to write out. She also loves iCarly, Scooby Doo and raisins. She is soon to be the co-handler of her very own service dog, Daisy.
Life is good. 🙂
