Would you go without makeup for a day? Two eighth graders in Arizona challenged women and girls around the country to be Only YOU for the day yesterday. They asked:
Just be the natural you, just for a day, dont flip out. You can do it! No makeup, no contacts, natural hair, favorite outfit. All natural. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.
Could I do it?
Yes. Yes I could.
Not only could I do it, I was part of a news story about it. Seattle area women were asked to take a photo of their self, au natural. No make up, no hair goo, comfy clothes. Then we were asked to hold a piece of paper describing in one word how we felt.
Since I don’t wear makeup unless there is a chance I’m going to be on TV, and I let my hair do whatever it wants, my word was easy-peasy.
