Remember “Thank You”?

Imagine you are meeting up with group of people, strangers, for the first time.

“Hello!”

“How are you?”

“I’m so happy to hear that!”

“That’s great advice.”

“I’m sorry, I couldn’t hear you, could you speak up?”

“I’m going to disagree with you on that one, but that is a very valid point”

“I’ve enjoyed talking to you”

“Have a nice day! Drive safe!”

“Thank you for your time!”

Now imagine you are walking into a room full of people who love you, who would do anything for you, your family…

“Ugh.”

“Whatever.”

“Don’t argue with me!”

“Stop mumbling.”

“Shut up.”

“Leave me alone.”

Am I the only one who thinks this needs to change? Why do strangers often get the best of people, while family gets the worst. Shouldn’t those who love you, and who you love, get the best we can offer?
