Thursday Thinking #18

This is a weekly series that I hope you will take part in. Basically, I will ask a question, you answer. Easy-peasy. ;) Sometimes the questions will be very simple and easy to answer in one word. Other times they may be more controversial and require a bit thought on your part.

Ready?

What is the one item of clothing you wear the most?

I have a pair of threadbare fleece yoga pants. I wear them all the time. As a matter of fact, about the only time I’m not wearing them is when they are in the washer or when society dictates that I must wear real pants. Stupid society.

Hmm that’s a tough one! I really love my make a wish shirt from volunteering a few years ago. I have two and wear them all the time!

My black Reef flip flops…and I have to really search high and low to replace them every couple yrs as they keep changing the style and I don’t like the new ones. Last time, I got 2 pair which should last me a while.

Anything with an elastic waist band! Gym shorts, yoga pants, sweats, etc. And I’m with you, stupid society. Pants are bullshit.

My slippers. I wear them around the house all the time and they are such a nice change from my work shoes when I get home.

My Crocs shoes. And yes, I know they are ugly, and I don’t care. I have regular ones (Caymans), a pair with no holes that were previously for work, a pair of extra cushy ones, flip flops, sandals, and boots. All Crocs brand, all ugly, and I will wear them until the soles get holes and then I’ll buy more. My feet don’t like anything else. I do have other shoes besides Crocs, but they are very rarely worn. A pair of tennis shoes for when I pretend I work out, a couple pairs of dressier flats for when I don’t think I can get away with Crocs, and a few pairs of heels for when I have lost my mind and think I can still wear them.
