Thursday Thinking

This is a weekly series that I hope you will take part in. Basically, I will ask a question, you answer. Easy-peasy. ;) Sometimes the questions will be very simple and easy to answer in one word. Other times they may be more controversial and require a bit of thought on your part.

Do you ever use a traditional 35mm camera and film?

Not anymore. What I love about digital is you don’t have to print to see what you’ve got. Either they’re good and you keep them, or they’re horrid and they go poof! I love being able to just keep going, and not worry do I have enough film left. (I admit, I have a pretty big SD card — perk of having a geeky hubby.)

I’m sorry…a 35-what? Ohhhhh right. Those old-timey things? Don’t you have to, like, get under a blanket or something and get someone else to light the flash on fire?

Just kidding. I’m too poor to be that snobby. But in all honestly, I didn’t even know that you could still buy those cameras. I haven’t noticed film for sale in a long, long time. Didn’t Kodak file for bankruptcy? I would take that as a sign that the 35-mm is pretty obsolete.

Oh…Is this one of the one-word-answer questions? Sorry.

I had that as my first camera in my pre-tees! But now I have a didgital, much easier to use. You don’t worry about wasting film on a bad photo, just delete and retake!
