Seventeen years ago my life changed forever. Our family was joined by another beautiful daughter. I had no idea how much this little girl would teach me the meaning of the word fight. Who showed me that giving up is never an option. Who showed me that joy and laughter can be found in all situations. I have been told by many people, over all walks of life, that meeting Faith changed their lives also. That her pure insight and words helped them and her laughter lifts them. I don't know why I was chosen to be Faith's mom, and sometimes I need valium to deal with it 😉 but I am a much better person because she is here. Happy birthday Sunshine. #seventeenthbirthday

WE DID IT! First time in 87 days we have left the

WE DID IT! First time in 87 days we have left the house. Faith picked her favorite mask, and favorite hand sanitizer. I made sure she understood she did not have to get out of the car. We picked her favorite song, Soul Man, to be on repeat, and we brought Daisy. We had to do some deep breathing, but we did it!! (I know her mask is upside down. She put it on herself and I wasn’t going fuss with correcting her since we didn’t actually get out the car 😂) #babysteps
